Todd, I think that this is a great idea. An international user group network would disseminate news, reviews, etc. so much more quickly than waiting for the magazines and word of mouth. I can help set up our local user group (Metroplex Commodore Computer Club – MCCC – Dallas/Ft.Worth) on this network. We could use Compuserve, or more cheaply, Usenet, to pass information back and forth, OR the user groups could get their own accounts on Compuserve or something like that. We cold also have people connect to GEnie and BIX. We would have to find someone in each group who would be able to call one of the online services on either their account, or get the user group an account and check it regularly for information.
