For reliability at Low density you don't lose anything because the drive
works EXACTLY like the old drive in low density mode. What you might be
thinking about with the IBM drives has to do with the number of tracks
involved where they are using a smaller head for the high density drives
than the low density drive. We still have this problem even with the old
amiga drives.
