Dominick, for all around control and quality of the DJ500 I'd recommend the DJHelper program (and driver), published by Creative Focus. I noticed it advertised in the Creative ad in the current AW (they used to sell just direct). Very nice driver for many purposes. It has four 'preferences' screens…. 1) page layout (margins, type of paper, etc), 2) font control (incl all builtin fonts plus support for downloadable fonts), 3) graphics (including customizable gray scale conversions) and 4) a font control (ie. download fonts, etc) screen. All these options control the driver, which ends up turning out some of the finest b&w printouts you've seen. IMHO. I certainly haven't tried all the other DJ drivers avail, but this seems top-quality to me. Full control over your DJ, just what I want. Creative Focus also sells disks of converted LaserJet fonts for use in the DJ series, if you have a memory cartridge. Neat stuff. –jp–seattle–
