Ah Ha! It is a 'bug/feature', not just me. I havn't figured out a
workaround or even exactly what conditions cause it either. Maybe
associated with the agravation of the NUMBLOCK automatically turning on
every time a DML program is run. By the way, anybody figure out how to
change the status of NUMLOCK from DML???
