The docs are not wrong, and I hope you have the regular version of
Imagemaster. :^)
There is a PI Module on there that will write directly to the FC24 – you
can xfer out from IM at any time, in any FC24 resolution.
The IMFC product will only run in the configuration where you use the
Impulse supplied overlay cable; we use both Amiga screens and FC24 screens
to do things for you. If you can't run that way, then you use the regular
IM, and the FC24 PI Module. You'll get _exactly_ the same end results.
Too bad you didn't elect to support the HAM-E. It's trivial to do; open the
hame libraries, call the render code, and, if the users wants, call the
saver code. Not one thing for you to write other than library calls.
