I don't know why 3DS won't run on your machine, Michele. But if you can't
get it to run, does this mean that you don't really need a solution to the
second problem? <g>
You can load a .flc file into 3DS 1.0 by renaming its file extension to
.fli. The new .flc extension evolved after 3DS v.1 had already shipped.
