Sorry Bob, all I can say is that a new release of 3DS is scheduled to ship
sometime this winter, and that it will make you very happy. (I guarantee
it.)
Regarding rendering hi-res flics now… you can do it with 3DSr1. Just set
the output size you want in the configure dialog (640x480x1.0, for example)
and render the flic to the Null device. You can then change the extender
from .fli to .flc, and load it into Animator Pro.
