The Targa 32 only supports resolutions from 512×400 through 512×482
(not 486), and is only 32-bit. If it's a 2-slot board, then it will also
support overscan (an option at that time). Input and output are RGB only
(no composite video or S-VHS). Other than programs that support a variety
of Targa boards, such as RIO, TOPAS & 3D Studio, the Targa 32 requires
software written for the board. For instance, a special version of the
TIPS paint package must be used (Targa 16 or Targa+ versions will not
work).
Imageset shouldn't care if your file is 24- or 32-bit, but putting Alpha on
will write out a 32-bit file.
Iris Graphics is the manufacturer of a large format ink-jet printer of high
quality, often used for Advertising proofs or small run posters.
