#HP Deskjet advice
I am seeking help and advice on my next printer purchase. My 24 pin just
bit the big one. I am looking into cheap lasers and the HP Deskjet. I do
DTP and I want something that will give a crisp, clean look. It does not
have to be PostScript perfect, but I want at least (if not better) output
than my 24 pin gave me with Pagestream 2.1. This was pretty good for a dot
matrix. I was also wondering about using a lot of the fonts that are
available. I d/led a lot of them from here and they worked great with my 24
pin! I have a friend with a HP laserjet II and the Pacific Page postscript
cartridge. He cannot use all of the fonts as I could. Any words, good or
bad on the HP DeskJet 500???? Any help would be appreciated. ** JOE **
