Hear hear! Optional 'bring to front' is FAR better than fixed behaviour that may just countermand the user's wishes. I have another few programs that have the severely annoying habit of popping their screens to the front after finishing some operation that takes a fair while. When it's going to take a while, I push it to the back and start doing something else. It can be quite a shock to have that background (to me) job terminate and intrude on what I am doing. -larry
