hi Bob, I was just in it, and it has come up solid for the second evening. It is absolutely necessary to do the Ctrl-D key in order for me to make it break into ATOnce. Any user-startup config doesn't seem to do it. By the way, I am using the original workbench 2.04 startup sequence, not modified in any way. I took their word not to mess with it after lots of trial and error. it is just better to do the userstartup thing. I totally disabled the user-startup I use, and was still able to get ATOnce, as long as I pressed ctrl-d once the shell screen first came up. My floopy config is df0: as 80 track and df1: as 80 track, with autodiskchange off. I can only get this to happen when the ATOnce Icon is set for MEMMODE=10. Otherwise it comes up blank and there is no disk activity. You can try starting from a shell using a command line, atonce /Mn, where n is the mode number. If 10 does not work try 6. If not that, start with 1 and go all the way to 14. My atonce is ver. 1.28. Good luck and best holiday. I may not be on again for a few days. 73's Pete , NO2D
