#Amiga laptop
I talked with Rick Estes at Newer Technologies today about their Amiga
laptop Model 10. He said that they were "reassessing product viability". I
think I now know what this means (THESE ARE MY OWN CONCLUSIONS AND WERE NOT
DIRECTLY VERIFIED BY NEWER TECHNOLOGIES). I asked "Is there a SCSI
interface on the Model 10?" He said, " On this I would swear that he said
"On this hypothetical computer, it is an option." Also, he said that the
reason that he wasn't at World of Commodore in Toronto, is that Commodore
wouldn't let them in. I said "Why wouldn't they? I mean, they are making
money since you either license or buy their custom chips from them." He
said "Nope. Neither." I think I now know what the problem is: They have
developed the first Amiga clone. I got on the list for more information
when it becomes available. Again, THESE ARE MY OWN PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS.
