Considering that Windows is driven by device drivers, and they hand out the "device driver kit" as part of their developer's kit, someone could craft up drivers to handle the display, keyboard and mouse in such a way that your BridgeBoard (or similar hardware) could be running Windows, yet all the windows would open on an Amiga screen. With the advent of AGA, it makes a lot more sense… 16 color Windows is the pits, but 256 or better is what most people expect. Although this approach is possible, I can think of a much faster and more expandable solution: a smart switch that toggles between Amiga and PC screens. It would switch the video (allowing you to use whatever kind of PC video card you prefer) between Amiga and PC video; switch the keyboard (or its logic) from talking to the Amiga to the PC, and same for the mouse. Kludgey but effective, I'd think. Maybe there'd be a way to trigger it from software, so it would just be a matter of hitting a hot-key combination to toggle between PC and Amiga modes.
