"If the Amiga is to make any inroads into the business market, it'll be through the back door as a niche (video) machine." Dave, Where I work, Australia Post, I had to fight tooth and nail to get an Amiga. It's proved itself in the image manipulation area I use it in, but I still have to justify it's idiosyncratic software base from time to time. Currently I'm under pressure to shift my work to a Sun or Windows based machine so I can use Adobe packages like Illustrator and Photoshop. If those packages were available on the Amiga, I could sell a half dozen machines in the space of a few days, without trying. "Once we're in the door, though, who knows what'll happen…." – Dave, it took hell for me to get in that door, and I'll tell you what'll happen – either Commodore gets serious and ports the necessary software or the Amiga dies due to what a colleague termed "lack of vendor support".
