David, Commodore has once again done what we all demand that they do – improve the Amiga. In order to make improvements, they have to make new computers that do things the old ones cannot do. No matter what computer you buy, there will be newer and better ones available in a few months, and yours will be less capable than the new ones. And yes – the AGA chips will not be available for your 500 nor for my 2500 nor for the 3000 machines that many of our users have. But they will work in newer, more capable, and faster Amigas that are keeping up with the changes in technology. —Betty
