Congratulations, Jay!
Haven't been on SSTV (or much else) for a few months. Been too busy with
various things, though that is a bit of an excuse – just a matter of
making time!
Don't know what 20 has been like with respect to short skip. Considering
where you are, 40 would be a safer bet, but (!) I still haven't put up any
wire for 40 or 80 since moving this spring. You want to know how far I
got putting up the 6 meter dipole? Antenna is up and in place, cable run
into the shack, and it is lying on the floor, waiting for me to put a
connector on this end. Been like that since, oh, about august!
Right now spending time on weekends trying to go into the bush to work on
snowmobile trails. May get something accomplished yet! If I come back
early today, I'll give you a call.
Other than that, best bet is in the evenings, but again, need short skip!
