The switch plugs into the back of their Golden Gate cards, so it looks
like you're forced to go with them to make it work "out of the box." I
haven't seen one of these in person, so I don't know if the port on the
Golden Gate card is truly custom (as their promo material implies) or is
just a serial port used to communicate with the switch.
