JPEG is a standard for compressing still images. Someone let me know if I have this wrong, but I believe it stands for JOINT PHOTOGRAPIC EXPERTS GROUP, or some variation of that. I won't go into a big explanation on how it works unless you are really interested. Basically, to view a JPEG file, you need a JPEG decoder. Try the GRAPHSUP or GRAPHDEV forums, one or the other will most certainly have a shareware or freeware program available. The only one I can think of off hand is Image Alchemy, but there are many others out there. Tim Branan
