#040 Compatibility
Eric,
There are currently two available speed grades of the 68040 – 25Mhz and
33Mhz. There is a third chip rated at 40Mhz that is not yet available.
Let me add my voice to Bens in saying that overclocking a processor is
a disaster waiting to happen. Designing a system to work _at_ worse case
specs is difficult enough as it is without adding the total unknown of a
chip working outside of its operating range.
