#MIDI purchase
Hi, I'm interested in buying a keyboard, and since I don't know the
technicals involved in such a decision, I was hoping I might get some help
from the knowledgeable users here :^) I'll be needing the keyboard, MIDI
interface, and software. I know a few of the basics, but if anyone has a
list of features I should look out for (or better yet, some model numbers
I can ask for), I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, what is the importance
of a MIDI-thru port? And is it common in keyboards to have the playing
volume relative to how hard the keys are struck? And can sounds be
downloaded from my Amiga to the keyboard so I can play with them? As you
can see, my knowledge of this area of computing is rather sparse, so
