#MIDI purchase
Thanks for the reply. I'm approaching this purchase strictly from a hobby
point of view (for now), so I'd like to keep the cost of the keyboard in
the $300-$500 range (that's without software and interface. I've heard
nice things about Bars & Pipes Pro, and was thinking about going that
route). I would like to know what kind of keyboards are out there, even
if they are outside my price range. I just thought I'd check in here
first before I started hitting the stores (an educated consumer…).
Anyway, I'm interested in doing some composing, and for that reason I was
hoping I could use some of my own sounds, but from what I've seen so far,
a pretty good selection of sounds can come with some keyboards. It would
always be hooked up to my computer, and a black plastic case is fine. If
you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them. Thanks.
