OK, I see what you're doing. The SCSI controller on the GVP is 32-bit, exclusive to the 030… I afraid the problem is the 2091. If you don't have the 2091A, it won't allow 2 SCSI controllers in the same machine – at least that is the problem I ran into on a 2000HD a while back. I'd suggest putting your Seagate at a different ID and adding it to the existing SCSI through another cable… After all, that's what SCSI does – up to 8 devices (the controller being one of them) on the same 'bus' (cable).
