3D Studio Thanks
Hello! I just wanted to drop a note to you to let you know how happy I am
with 3D Studio. It is a beautiful, simple, exciting program. Very user
friendly. The Reference manual and Tutorial are dynomite – very
straightforward. You should be proud of your work. It's rare that one can
get excited for a program, but 3D Studio has hooked me.
A couple questions:
Playing .flc on a Targa+? How does 3DS run under os/2? The IPAS developers
kit? When?
Some ideas:
How about bounce boards for Omni and Spotlights, just like in the real
movies, to create a controlled ambient light (and eliminate hotspots).
Along the same lines, diffusion for the lights – such as 1/8th Opal, 1/4
Silk scim
A more flexable CAMERA/MOVE command where both the camera and the target
move at the same time, rather than the two step.
There were a couple other things but I've forgotten. I've only been working
on the program for a month or so, so some of these things may already be
possible.
