David, You could try a program called Fixdis.zoo. AmigaUser Lib: 9 FIXDIS.ZOO/Bin Bytes: 33683, Count: 177, 06-Sep-90 Title : FIXDISK, a disk recovery program Keywords: FIXDISK RECOVER UNREADABLE DATA FIXDISK seems like it'll be a good partner for DiskSalv. It can recover some information from unreadable tracks on a disk. It has other features that DiskSalv doesn't, but doesn't include everything that DiskSalv can do. You have to run this from within a shell window and use the DOOM switch to get it to work with hard drives of 40MB or more. RAM:> Run Fixdisk doom. It has saved me before I had one SyQuest cartridge that wouldn't even be seem as an Amiga formatted disk and it fixed it. I recommend trying to backup before using it or any disk fixer utility. There is also a commercial program called Quarterback Tools version 1.5 that could fix it. Another newer product as yet to be reviewed (don't know if it has shipped) is Ami-Back Tools. Chris
