I had the same trouble hooking up a Supra 2400 plus to my 1000. Get a RS-232 jumper box, (Radio Shack has them). Hook up all the same pins that are on the 1200, so all the same signals that are on the 1200 are passed. Hook up pins 4 & 5 from the modem to 4 & 5 to the 1000. That is your RTS (4) and CTS (5), my error correction will not work without it. With the jumper box, you can use a standard cable, without worry of the +5v, +12v, and -5v getting to the modem since they are not passed. Richard -> via the Amiga 1000 AutoPilot
