Jeff – GPSoft itself is in Australia, so it's not easy to reach them. I was able to leave mail for one person via Internet – Richard Carde, at internet address rc@splat.aarnet.edu.au. He's in the update docs as the person to contact about getting front-ends to work (don't ask me what they are, I don't know 8^) ). Supposedly Greg Perry (the author) can be reached at gregp@gpsoft.adsp.sub.org, but I think that's a UUCP mail address rather than Internet (I couldn't Internet to that address). I did experiment last night and discovered that GPFax didn't recognize something about that modem. The init string was sent OK, and according to the modem LEDs all the proper signals were there, but the software came up and said "where's the modem?". I'm going to try to leave another message about this (I have the "generic" version even though I bought it from Supra direct) but I may end up having to try some other fax software. Harry
