Jonathan, I don't think screaming letters to BYTE will be helpful at all. I think fairly short, factual, and extremely polite letters would be good. These letters should point out (very tactfully) any errors you saw in the article. Amiga owners have gained a very bad reputation with magazines because of the 'screaming' letters that pour forth every time they publish anything about our machine. I hope you will write your letter, but that you will make it business-like, factual, and polite. There are quite a few people at BYTE who really like the Amiga. A few have worked for Amiga magazines in the past and really know the machine thoroughly. I doubt that it is easy for them to get articles printed, though, if Amiga users are too critical every time they do an article on the Amiga. —Betty
