Michael, At one time ( and I thought currently ), CBM considered mail-order sales unacceptable for a dealer. A local store closed because they sold mail-order software, then tried to sell Amiga hardware, and it was my impression that CBM would have none of it. It was a very small store; maybe it's more a matter of scale. If CBM is seriously interested in supporting dealers (and they SERIOUSLY need it) then Creative should not be permitted to sell new machines, especially if CBM will not honor warranty repairs to these machines and Creative doesn't make that clear at time of sale. I'm not SURE that this is the policy, but believe it to be true. CBM is definitely improving on a number of fronts. But they still send mixed messages to their dealers. Karl
