With everyone getting so hell-fired about credits and use of various Amiga products in commercial TV projects, I think we should push for more detailed disclosure… like how much these F/X people paid for the software / hardware, how much extra special help they got, what other types of licking and petting they received, a list of all the companies who've "donated" time / materials / equipment / software to the project, what sorts of promotional quotes have appeared in the P.R. or advertising literature of these companies, etc. All of these F/X teams are using absolutely whatever they can get their hands on, for the least cost. The fact that they're using the Amiga can be regarded as either good or bad: good for the Amiga and the companies involved, or bad in the sense that these F/X people can only "afford" to use or be given the most low-rent equipment around. Trust me, they're all using Macs and PCs, too, in a synergistic setting, as much as time and hardware allows.
