Ben, While at Comdex, I discussed the FCC thing with a few folks, and they told me some things…that in light of your experiences, seem to be untrue. My hypothetical question was this: If I was intending to sell a PC clone, how much would it cost to get FCC certification? How long? I was told: About $5000 a box at most independent labs, and a few weeks. It could be cheaper for different PC models that consisted of simply swapping CPU chips… What do you think of this?
