HELP!
Well, I have partial success. By fiddling with the DIP switches, I can get
the drive to be accessed during bootup. (I even get the laser sound this
time). But I still cannot access the drive after the machine boots. It
seems as if there is only one-way data transfer.
Do you happen to have the generic DIP switch settings for a Panasonic
board? It has 8 switches, and the combinations are numerous.
Also, is there anywhere I can get a hold of some other *.sys drivers for
the drive? (in case the problem lies there). As I mentioned before, I have
MTMCDD.SYS for DMA, and MTMCDS for non-DMA.
I dropped by a local dealer, and he was also having the same problem
with his Panasonic drive, but was using a driver .sys for the soundblaster,
dissimilar to mine. So he could not help me out.
Any help would be MUCHO appreciated.
THX. in advance.
