Dear All, I'm about to plunk down some $$$ on a CD-ROM drive, and I'd like some opinions (or better, some real experience) about what's out there and what's best. Here's what's of interest to me, in order of importance: 1) Compatibility with System 7, CD drivers, applications s/w, ISO 9660 2) Compatibility with multisession PhotoCD 3) Speed, both access time and throughput 4) Price 5) Bundled CD titles What can I expect in terms of warranties and reliability? What sort of price range am I looking at for a speedy drive? I'm going to use this to run interactive titles, get at Apple's Developer CDs, access PhotoCD images, play music and QuickTime movies, etc. Any comments, good or bad, would be appreciated.
