I strongly disagree. I don't think your average news hound knows or cares
about the difference between a Mac and a PC. They probably think they're as
similar as Coke and Pepsi. If anything, the Amiga might have a wedge to the
conventional, non-computer press, because it's novel and NOT a mainstream
computer. The "Inventions" segment on the Discovery Channel clearly
described the Toaster as being based on a Commodore Amiga, they had a 30-40
second segment showing the pieces going together… and I saw the "Next
Step" piece being shot on location in Topeka, and again, the host clearly
described it as an Amiga system.
