Most Internet nodes will Do The Right Thing if confronted with an
address of the form user@node.BITNET, even though Bitnet isn't a real
TCP/IP domain. (The same goes for UUCP if you ever have to deal with
it.) It wasn't always this way, but these days just about every
network knows how to get to just about every other network.
