Thanks for the background! Good luck on securing a license to distribute AS225, too. The bug I saw that that 'ftp' didn't read commands properly from 'stdin'. I had hoped to drive it from an ARexx script to automate the movement of entire file subdirectories from machine to machine. The problem was, it would read some of the commands, then it seemed it would read another bufferful of junk beyond the end of file. Hey, just give it an ARexx port instead. 🙂 I have an Amiga, two PCs and a Mac on a TCP/IP network. I'm in the midst of setting up the newest PC to run DOS, Windows, Windows NT and Linux. WinNT includes TCP/IP and 'ftp', so far it's worked fine. Under DOS and the Mac, I run the NCSA 'telnet' packages.
