Wolf… Thanks for the information. So DPaint and Brilliance can now send 4096 colors to the parallel port printer device, correct? What do they do differently than the other programs since I assume they use the preferences printer driver? Is there hope for more colors through the Amiga's printer port – like 18 bit or 24 bit? Not being a computer programer – just a photographer – this is all confusing to me. Thanks again for your info and if you find out about anybody getting around the 4096 color limit please let me know. ..Carl
