Brian, thanks you for the help on cross dos. I did find the pc0, pc1, etc in storage/dosdrivers. BTW, i did neglect to tell you that i am using wb 2.1, one 3 1/2 floppy and hard drive inside a2000. Now, if I understad this correctly. I should also open devs, and drag pc0 from storage/dosdrivers over dosdrivers icon in devs. is that right? Then after reboot, the floppy drive will be both amiga/pc drive. From then on, will it write both amiga and pc anytime, or do i need to change it over to amiga? Brian, before I try this, I need to be sure. I cant afford to mess up my amiga at this time and be stuck. I did read the manual, but somehow i'm missing something, and i'm not sure about the procedure. please help, i'm learning thanks, george
