Although EISA is a limiting factor as far as installed owners goes,
it is the best (besides PCI, which I know little about, and is so
new). You just CAN'T get as fast data transfer rates out of ISA and
VLB. I'm glad somebody decided to go with what will perform best, and
not with what will sell the easiest. I tossed my ISA systems out the
window after I was shown how much faster a good EISA system is.
