I agree that something must be done. Until then, however, another
idea is to set up a little switchbox for the dongles. Not pretty,
but cheap, and it works! Much easier to use than having to pop
dongles in and out and try to figure out which one to use for what,
and what must be unhooked for the printer to function! Just get a
1->4 parallel switchbox, and you should be set. It's not a cure to
the root problem, but it is a solution!
