Sony EVO-9700 vs 9720 ??
I guess I must have been snoozing and missed the announcement of Sony's
follow-on to their EVO-9700 Hi8 editing setup – the EVO-9720. I understand the
primary difference is that the 9720 goes for about a $1000 more and it has a
serial connection. Assume this means it could be used for single framing like
Sony's EVO-9650, correct?
Anybody know anything else about the 9720?
Also, seem to recall a hint a couple months back that Sony would be coming out
with a desktop edit deck like the 9700, except that it would be a Hi8 player
and an S-VHS recorder combo. Anybody heard anything on this unit?
