Hi John, Hey, thanks for the help and the work at trying to recreate my problems. What a guy! But, as it turns out, the material I was using on the wall was a GOURAUD shade – gotta use that PHONG to get shadows! Oops.. Thanks again for all you thought. I owe ya. Needless to say, don't expect the file… James
