Hard errors?
Calm down. If you used a Mac much, you'd know that there's nearly
always the hot-key combination of COMMAND-SHIFT-1 and COMMAND-SHIFT-2 to
eject either floppy 1 or 2, and COMMAND-E to eject the currently selected
disk on the desktop. What you blame Apple for as "arrogance" is actually a
noble attempt to allow the software to finish what it's doing before spitting
out the disk. With a Mac, you can eject a disk more or less whenever you
want, but it's through a software switch instead of a hardware one.
I've used both a Mac and an Amiga extensively, and if I had my way
I'd want disk drives that software eject like the Mac's but WITH BUTTONS so
that once I knew my way around I could kick them out manually and save time.
