I had the same problem LONG time ago. I talked to the creator and he told me
there was a slight difference in the joystick ports between the 1000 and the
(back then) newer Amigas. He said I needed to solder some resistors somewhere.
Never got around to doing it. If you call him (someone else left a #) he can
probably do the same for you.
