Pierre – Tom Knights people are excellent and well detailed, however as has been pointed out they have alot of faces and not everyone needs that level of detail. I mention this because I have developed a lo-res set of male/female people with articulated joints with a face count under 1200 which can be positioned for static as well as animated scenes. They are an addition to Imagine 3D People which are the static version and which are currently being marketed by Schrieber Instruments. As a special offer to anyone interested you can recieve a male and female Beta version for $95 and recieve the finished marketed version in January for free which will retail for $295 and will include 10 articulated models in a variety of clothes. If you need highly detailed models for close-ups etc I would highly recommend checking out Tom Knights models, but if you just need people for walk-throughs and for scale etc. I think you'll find Imagine 3D Articulated People will suit you needs very well and they render very fast, approximately 10 seconds for a full screen render.
