David, I found that production Music Libraries is an invaluabe asset for a
small video producer like myself. I pay a flat blanket and have access to well
over a 150 1 hour CD's of programed and timed cuts, ie 5sec, 10sec, 15sec,
20sec, 30sec, 60sec, and full piece. It makes easy putting together music
sequences that can be timed and synced to almost any animation. My license
allows for retail sale of my videos and sync rights for non theatrical. I pay
for cablecast but not for broadcast. Music libraries are very well suited for
my work and the people I deal with are very flexible as to custom tailoring
contracts to meet your budget.
