Some were single-celled organisms, and some reached prodigious lengths greater n The Calvert Cliffs area in Maryland offers fossils of Miocene age, about 5 to 25 million years old. These rocks are too young to have any dinosaurs in them. But there are fossil porpoises, seals and whales, clams, crabs, and snails. The Natural Science museum in Philadelphia has some good exhibits, perhaps your parents can take you there. Museum docents are very happy to answer questions and explain the exhibits.
