All of the Yost Group IPAS routines for r2 work with r3, but there are a couple
of gotchas. Here they are:
1) Silicon Garden requires a patch (available on the Schreiber
Instruments BBS).
2) The ixp's in Disk#1 (glow, hilite, etc.) only work in 24-bit
color space, and you won't get the color resolution that r3's
64-bit color provides. I'll have updates for that disk early
next year.
Other developers who wrote IPAS routines with the Watcom compiler could
possibly run into problems with routines that worked in r2 due to Phar Lap
changes and the Watcom maxmem function. Our ipasfix.exe program (that ships
with r3) should fix most of them, but you'd theoretically be able to create
problems that would require more than ipasfix.exe to fix.
