Hi! Why do you say that "parenthetically" is not in common usage? Are
you sure you meant to say "common usage" or did you mean to say that you
don't hear it used that much? There is a difference. A word that is "not
in common usage" is generally antiquated, obsolete, and not recognized by
the dictionary as a proper form of the word. Many "Olde English" words
fall into this category. However, the word "parenthetically" is in common
usage, even if you don't hear it used that often. 😎
