Actually, the Protext manual was okay and was written quite well. I was
just suggesting they have an American version if they want to sell a lot
of Protext programs in America. Some potential customers might fear
they'll have trouble getting support because Arnor is in England coupled
with the fact that the manual is written in U.K. English. That tends to
give the message that Arnor doesn't have and doesn't expect to get many
American customers.
The Config program allows you to set the American date format, but the
format is only used when displaying dates in the file requester. The Date
command always uses the English format. I have to use a long and very
tedious Stored Command in order to use the American format, and then the
date doesn't even display on the screen. Only the Stored Command is
displayed.
