Barbara; You would have to "go through" all of that to create the first set but since ghostscript is a Unix style program, it is designed to be run from scripts. Thus, once you know the devices that need to be used to create the various output files you can write a script that accomplishes that automagically. You might be a whole lot better off to just use PostScript files and your end and require (or supply) programs for each of the end users that have to process your files. -bill
